A photographer's wait, under your control.
There is a moment in the field that I can only describe as waiting. Camera ready, eyes fixed on the clouds. The landscape is there, but not yet the photograph. Something is missing, and then it comes.
Let There Be Light replays that moment. By moving the mouse or your finger, you control the arrival of sunlight over the Gastlosen, a limestone ridge in the Swiss Pre-Alps. The first image begins in shadow. The last shows the same place, fully lit. Between them: the work.
The vegetation takes on these intense reds because it reflects light differently, a real property captured here without colour retouching. What you see existed. Not like this to the naked eye, but not fabricated either.
