About

I’m a Swiss photographer specializing in infrared photography, a technique that allows me to rediscover and reveal the hidden beauty of nature. My work transforms familiar landscapes into surreal, ethereal scenes, offering a unique and captivating perspective on the natural world.

Using various infrared filters on location, I capture the invisible and invite viewers to a deeper appreciation of the environment. My images reflect a combination of technical skill and a passion for highlighting little-known aspects of nature, mainly in local Swiss locations.

You may be surprised by the official name of my images. Using Leet speak, I encourage the viewer to look beyond what they see, capturing the world beyond what humans can see.

S P E C T R A

Infrared light reveals a world beyond human perception—a hidden spectrum where familiar landscapes transform into something surreal. This ongoing series invites the viewer on a journey into the unseen, unveiling nature in a way that feels both dreamlike and unknown.

Captured entirely in Switzerland, these images seek to rediscover the landscapes we think we know, offering a fresh perspective on overlooked beauty. By stripping away the expected, they encourage a deeper connection with the natural world, reminding us that there is always more than meets the eye.

Living Frames

This series of dynamic NFTs blends my photography with the power of code to create living, changing artworks. Each piece goes beyond a static image—it moves, shifts, or responds, whether to time, your actions, or the moment. Every artwork also includes the individual photos used to craft the dynamic experience, giving you a glimpse into the layers of its creation. Using a contract ERC7160TL, the holder of the NFT can select which artwork is being displayed by the token.

My philosophy is that art should be a shared experience. These works invite you to join in, shaping their story as they evolve. By engaging with them, you become part of the art itself, creating a personal journey that’s one of a kind.

Ghosts Of Switzerland

In the quiet fields of Switzerland, these eerie black-and-white photos capture a strange, otherworldly scene. The grass glows an unnatural white, adding to the ghostly vibe. Bare trees stand like silent shadows in the thick fog, which wraps everything in a mysterious veil. These places feel like they’re hiding old secrets, whispering through the chilly air—beautiful, yet a little haunting.

The process

Infrared photography captures light beyond the visible spectrum—wavelengths longer than red that our eyes can’t detect, revealing hidden details in landscapes like glowing foliage and ethereal skies.

By using screw-on filters on my full-spectrum Canon R5C camera mounted on a tripod, I blend traces of visible light with infrared rays, creating false-color palettes: vibrant pinks, blues, and reds where greens dominate in reality, transforming the ordinary into the dreamlike.
For deeper contrasts, a 850nm filter isolates pure infrared light, rendering greenery as luminous white against stark black skies, evoking a haunting, monochromatic glow that heightens the surreal atmosphere.

This process encourages intentionality and a slower pace; with the electronic viewfinder, I can preview the infrared world in real-time, allowing me to compose mindfully and engage deeply with the environment before capturing the shot.
Much of the final vibrancy emerges in post-production, where I often swap color channels—such as inverting reds and blues to achieve a striking cyan sky—though this step isn’t always necessary and depends on the mood I aim to convey.
Additional refinements include tone adjustments for balance and local contrast enhancements to sharpen details and depth.

Inspired by Neil Burnell’s atmospheric woodland scenes in false-color infrared and Richard Mosse’s vivid, otherworldly Aerochrome explorations of conflict zones, my work seeks to uncover the unseen beauty in Switzerland’s natural realms.
