Fir trees in the mist, at Dent de Vaulion. Snow on the ground, evening light shaping the contours. These trees look as though they are walking.
On the way up to Dent de Vaulion, feeling uninspired that day, I stopped to decide whether to continue. When I turned around, I saw clouds passing through the fir trees and the evening light shaping the snow-covered ground. The composition I had been looking for since the start of the walk.
