A white tree on a small island, calm water around it, a starry sky above. Île de la Harpe, seen differently.
Some images happen in an instant. Others take months to put together. This composition was planned long before it was made: the island photographed by day, the starry sky on another occasion, from the same viewpoint in Rolle. I knew this place held a minimalist, timeless image; I just needed those two moments to create it.
