Is it winter, autumn, night, or day? Infrared can lead us to unusual questions when we look at an image… This composition is a perfect example! The foreground was photographed during broad daylight, around noon, using 850 nm infrared. The stars, captured in visible light, were taken around 11 p.m. during a moonless night.
